Paring Down the Dolls

I'm the the process of paring down my collection of dolls by Robert Tonner. For a long time (almost a year now), I've been in that process. I've sorted through all I have and made a few different piles of 'Things to get rid of', 'Things I can bear to part with', 'Things I really want to keep (at least for now)', and 'Things I'll sell for the right price'.

It's been a slow process, and I have managed to sell quite a few items, but the perfectionist in me wants to have a great ad for every item, along with a thorough description and stunning photograph. Part of me thinks I just ought to get it all over with, but another part of me wants to do it right.

Yes, I have bought a few new things while I was supposedly paring down my collection, but I'm human. I can be tempted. And I've gotten MUCH pickier than I used to be ;)

I'm trying to let go of things I don't really play with a whole lot, or things that I have bought with some project in mind that I STILL haven't gotten to (so probably never will). There are also some things in there that just aren't really me, or don't quite fit into my style.

For fun, here's a girl that I can't imagine parting with...and maybe I'll spotlight one of these from time to time. This is Carmen, a repainted Tyler v.1 by Jenise, of The Doll Salon:
